"We had four glorious, gorgeous, days at Hobby Horse Farm this spring. The weather was unbelievable. We rode through old growth forest, past waterfalls, into ponds, down country roads, next to old apple orchards, up hills and down hills, crossed streams and played games in the big sand ring at the farm. We love the awesome house, with its big, convenient kitchen, long dining tables, comfy upholstered chairs, big rooms, long halls and numerous bedrooms. It's our Fillies' home away from home."
Offering a Unique
Hobby Horse Farm has been welcoming the public since it was established in its present location by George Wade in 1969. Our father loved his property and his horses and nothing thrilled him more than sharing both with visitors. We have carried on his tradition by continuing to host a number of horse activities at the farm. More recently we have offered equine and non-equine visitors the opportunity to stay in this beautiful setting. The house is ideal for family retreats or groups seeking to enjoy a peaceful escape. For those who would be appreciative and respectful of this environment we invite you to check out what Hobby Horse has to offer.
We are located in the the heart of the Annapolis Valley in Coldbrook, just outside of Kentville, Nova Scotia, with local shopping and restaurants.
